Fire Island’s best restaurant with amazing waterfront view and delicious seafood . Baked clams were sooo good, and so were the calamari, truffle fries, salmon, bbq tuna . Manager, bartenders and waiters were so kind and took good care of us the entire time. We enjoyed our wonderful dinner and definitely will come back! Thank you for making my first visit to Fire Island a perfect memorable experience! Remember to make reservations ahead of time on the weekend!

Im embarrassed to admit I have been coming to FI for 35 years and this is my first time eating at Matthews and it did not disappoint! We had the halibut on the regular menu and swordfish on the special menu; both were absolutely delicious! (My one comment would be to serve extra olive/tomato toppings on the halibut on the side. Plus, my cucumber infused vodka martini with elderberry was so refreshing! Highly recommend! Service: Dine in
