I ordered breakfast online for pickup. I didn’t go to the store for 45 minutes, knowing that the store is busy during summer mornings/afternoons.There is no organization in the store for who needs to order, who had ordered, and who was there to pick up their orders. It was very confusing for every other customer that I had spoken to, to find out where I should go to pick up my order. After waiting another 15 minutes and finally getting my order, half of my order was missing. The food I did receive was decent, nothing special.Luckily I was able to receive a refund for my missing item, however my breakfast was not what I wanted and waited an hour for. Do with that what you will.
My family started ordering from Dead End when it first opened and had a great experience. The bagels are really well made and taste delicious.But as popularity grew, the service and quality has plummeted completely.Nearly every time we order, there is something wrong with our order. There is zero attention to detail. At first we wrote it off because they were so busy, but now it has become a theme. I am talking 5+ orders all incorrect. I should not have kept giving them chances.I am finally writing this review because I'm just DONE. It's a shame- they have good bagels but it is NOT WORTH THE HASSLE and the aggravation. AT ALL.On top of it, I've noticed while the bagels are fine, the quality of the ingredients has diminished as well (avocados and cream cheese to be specific).Disappointing.
I would highly recommend NOT going here on the weekend. The staff was completely unprepared for the Sunday morning rush. I ordered online at 9AM, and it said it would be ready at 9:30-9:35AM. Showed up at 9:30 to a store full of angry customers that had been waiting there for 30-45 minutes past their own stated pickup times. I decided to try to wait it out…which was a mistake. At 10:15AM(45 minutes past the stated pickup time , I gave up. When anyone asked about their order, the counter just told us “it’s busy, we’re doing our best,” with no ability to tell customers where their orders were. (Maybe get a board that shows order status or don’t accept online orders if you can’t handle the rush? They were “out” of a few different bagels, which is understandable at a busy place, but the two younger teens making the bagels were goofing around, not helping with any busier areas, and moving at a very leisurely pace (not a good look when you have a store full of hungry/disappointed customers . Can’t believe there wasn’t an owner or manager running the show and getting the staff to show some hustle on one of the busiest weekends of the summer. Avoid at all costs. What a mess.
Something must have changed here in the past few months! Timing has vastly improved!! Went in on a Saturday with family , amazing service and got our sandwiches and drinks in less then 10 min!! Used to waiting waay longer here Just how it should be, will definitely be back, keep up the amazing work guys!
