Ehh, food was mediocre. Bland shrimp, old rubbery crab legs. Nothing was fresh. Waitress was weird when I asked for extra butter? They don't season the crab legs, FYI. You have to ASK. Very over priced for the quality and service.
I did not have the pleasure of eating at this place because we were yelled at to move our vehicle as soon as we got out of our vehicle. We parked and my daughter is not a huge seafood lover. We were checking the carry out place next store for her, but this old guy came out and started yelling at us to move our vehicle. To be that miserable breaks my heart. Food may be good, but we will never know because of a grumpy old man.
This was by far the worst restaurant I have ever been too on the east coast. Immediately upon entering I knew I didn’t want to be there but the experience just kept getting worse. My fiance and son were set on all you can eat crabs which is how we ended up there in the first place. Upon entering the restaurant smelled terrible the decor is old dirty and outdated. We could look past the decor for good food so we decided to stay. The waitress was pleasant but other people working gave us dirty looks for no reason. We asked to be seated outside bc they have a few (empty) tables outside and the smell was overwhelming so we thought it would be better. They told us they wouldn’t serve us outside. They did have good ice in the drinks which was the only positive about this place. My daughter and I were not extremely hunger so she wanted to order the Alaskan Crab legs and I wanted a dozen steamers (and we would perhaps get more food while the boys sat there and ate) We fully understood the no sharing the all you can eat crab meal and didn’t want that anyway. Once we ordered the waitress instructed us that Me and my daughter HAD to order a main dish eat to be able to stay and sit with our family. We were soooo confused we asked her to get a manager. The manager sent over another waitress who explained “it’s just the rules to eat here” we were baffled and tried to explain that we understood the no sharing rule and that as we were all ordering food and would all be paying customers. They said No we couldn’t stay and eat with my son and fiance ?? We ordered a check for our 2 ice waters, 1 ice tea and 1 beer and left. We drove across the bridge to Hoopers and called to make sure there were no rules for dining LOL The hostess at Hoopers was actually laughing at my question. I would suggest gas station crab over this place. Read ALL the reviews before you go to this establishment. Would NOT recommend.
We had the pleasure of eating at PGN and the food, service and di I g were exceptional. Everyone was pleasant and knowledgeable. Myfamily and I had a great experience and look forward to eating there again.
