Jalisco Cantina - Oceanside

This place is very accommodating for vegetarians and vegans. Usually, my partner has limited options, but here there were several vegan-friendly choices, which made him very happy. The space is small, but they have enough seating to make it comfortable. All the drinks I tried were tasty, and at $11 each, they were fairly priced for signature cocktails. However, they do close rather early.

I absolutely loved this newly discovered gem in the heart of Oceanside! The food was fantastic—so fresh and generous in portion sizes. The prices were also quite reasonable. I tried the cilantro margarita without agave, and it was fabulous! Both the shrimp and the yellow swank were delicious. Yum! The restaurant has a maximum capacity of 47. We arrived just before 5 PM, which allowed us to choose our seats. We sat at a window seat and enjoyed people-watching while we relaxed. By the time we left around 7 PM, the place was packed, which is always a great sign. Highly recommended!

We visited Jalisco Cantina after speaking with the CEO of Wild Barrel, and we were not disappointed! My partner had the garlic tacos, while I was recommended the carnitas tacos. Both were excellent choices! Our friends ordered the chili verde and the grilled shrimp platter, and everything was delicious. The liqueur menu is impressive—if you enjoy tequila, this is the spot for you! I highly recommend making this a must-visit while in Oceanside!

Love the ambiance when you visit Jalisco! The Restaurants menu offers dishes with REAL flavor! I loved the Poblano soup... but the real star was salsa. I know, salsa. But if was so different. They bring three types and you pour them out at the table.
