Timbermine Steakhouse - Ogden

We met our friends had a great time in an interesting location! The waitress was super! The bartender was helpful! However the food wine was over priced! Otherwise a great experience because I can say I?ve been there!

1st time at the Timbermine. No reservation, but was there about 5:30 on a Friday night. We had a ten minute wait. Although on the way out. We saw the crowd had grown significantly. Go early. The restaurant is decked out in an old western mine theme. The booths had their own individual lighting adjustments so you can make the atmosphere very romantic or if you had grandma and grandpa with you, you could turn up so they can see what they are eating. The food was excellent. If I had to have a complaint it would be that the house salad was just basic greens. We ordered the prime rib and the gold pan shrimp scampi. Both were tasty. I ordered my prime rib, medium rare and it was done to perfection. It was tender and well seasoned with au jus and creamed horseradish on the side. This was probably the best prime rib I've had dining out in Utah. I do a lot of my own barbecue, and get pretty picky about what I eat out. I would definitely recommend this. My wife's shrimp were done to perfection. Large and tasty. We also found that the price was not unreasonable. If you're looking for an evening out with some good food, and a little atmosphere, I can recommend the Timbermine. Enjoy!

Thus is a different experience for us as far as going out goes. The food was great and Jone....our waitres was great. She was checking in on us every 5 minutes. The food was also great. The difference is the restaurant's feel. It feels like a museum in the entrance and in their bar. Check it out and let me know what you think. We loved it

Fantastic atmosphere, service and the food!! My steak was done exactly the way I ordered, tasted great and my potatoe was done perfectly as well. It's like having dinner in a museum which was really cool.. Love all the seating arrangements which ours was a private booth.. Highly recommend this restaurant for everyone!!!!!
