After we had made reservations before, we had not waited long. Almost when we sat, a waitress appeared to take our drinks orders. When she finished, she disappeared a moment before she broke out our drinks and our salads. After the waitress had taken over our dinner order, our chef appeared and confirmed that our orders were correct before performing his culinary skills professionally. It was an incredible performance! One thing to note: I ordered the steak (no mushrooms or vegetables of all kinds) and fried rice instead of white rice. My husband ordered the same except he chose the steak and salmon combo together with fried rice. He was pleasantly surprised to discover that he was served the same amount of steak as I, AND a FULL salmon fillet for just $1 more!! We were in these types of steakhouses many times over the years, but when we order a combo plate like steak and fish, we always get half parts of each. At Tokyo Station, the portion sizes were so generous that we both saved about half our meals to go home and enjoy the next day, which is another thing that rarely happens to other restaurants these days. It seems that most restaurants have started REDUCING portion sizes and RAISING prices. Here you will find nothing of it and for these reasons I recommend you to Tokyo Station!
Last weekend was date night with some family and friends. That was the place where we decided to eat. Food was amazing. Bomb.com I usually eat my whole food and get a togo box so you know I can finish later, but not this night. It was so good, I ate. And the ice in the end was the sky. The cook had run out and had a good sense of humor. He did a good show. The only thing is that they add the top of 18% honestly if they don't do that I would have tipped much more. But hey, it's what it is, they just cut their selfs short, oh and after you eat done, you feel a tad rushed because they do Dnt reservations so that they try to clean you out and the next people in. Overall tho great food great show from cook and def would recommend.
Typical Hibachi grill. The food and entertainment were great, but quite standard for this type of space. Prices were $20-$35 per person. There was a small children's menu with prizes in the $15 range. Portions were big. Quite a waiting time to sit, and the service was slow and steady, once sitting (the way to expect with cleansing and shows). Just walk, no reservations. Gratuity was already included in the invoice. The staff (kitchen, host and waitress) was friendly and uplifted. Parking was limited.
Great place! We received the warmest greeting when we came in. We sat very fast and our server was very pleasant and happy to answer all our questions. When we came back, we were grateful that we were there and had good wishes.
Great location by the theaters and the beautiful LDS temple and their visitors! Could see the sunset right on their outdoor patio. The simple onion soup was so soothing. The manager was so friendly and had a fun smile face mask on! The sushi was good and the cream cheese wontons were awesome! Prices were higher than I would've liked for the portion sizes, but the restaurant was clean and beautiful! If you liked this review or thought it was helpful, give it a thumbs up. thanks!
