Roberto's Restaurant - Ogunquit

The waitress came out twice to inform us that our food would be ready soon. The second time, she mentioned it would be out in 2 minutes. After waiting for 5 minutes, I went to the front and asked the owner if there was a problem with our food. She went to check and it arrived 5 minutes later. We only saw the waitress one more time when she brought us the check. The owner did not stop by to see if everything was okay. When I requested for our drinks to be comped due to the food delay, the owner flatly refused and even insulted me. The food was overpriced and mediocre. The service was terrible, and the owner was rude. There are much better dining options in Ogunquit, and I will not waste another 2 hours of my life at this restaurant. I tried to give it a rating of 0, but the system would not allow it, so it receives 1 star, which it does not deserve.

Great experience at Roberto’s. we had a reservation and were immediately sat at the arrival. the food came out in time and was good. no problems with service. polite server that has provided us with everything we have requested.

We have dimmed several times at roberto in the years, but roberto is not what it was earlier. it is definitiw down in atmosphere, personal and service. it no longer has the panache it had earlier. our server was not attentive, the “Busboy” was in jeans, T-shirt and western jacket. he stood in the dining room and shook up the paper tablecloth. eating was very good.

Host was wonderful, welcoming. The food we received was ok, not incredible. Dessert very good. Our appetizer never arrived and our coffee never arrived. Server seemed to be overwhelmed, not very friendly. I don't think I would return or recommend.
