The food can be a little heavy and greasy, but if you're nursing a bit of a hangover, the bacon, mac cheese fries are the cure you're looking for. I go there just to pretend I'm Batman and drink root beer floats.
Ordered the Jack Daniels BBQ wings, french fries and the Pollo Loco. Loved every bite of every part of the meal. My favourite were the BBQ wings. I would definitely get them again
The dessert here is great. Fried icecream all the way.<br/ <br/ The other menu items i like and they are flexible with changes to some items. The kids share plate is not very good, the chicken is like cardboard.<br/ <br/ The milkshakes are good and they staff are nice. I havent had a bad experience here but i am also not a fussy eater and as long as the foods not rotten im pretty happy.
By chance, we went to Chuck the Wagon because our usual spot was booked out. I am glad we did, as the burgers were delicious and good quality patty meat. The serving size was adequate and good value. Although, I wish they would clean their glasses and serve on bigger plates. Otherwise good service, nice food and convenient location on the Parade.
A belated review from Sunday night. Family wanted take away but something a little different and Chuck Wagon on The Parade was selected. <br/ <br/ As it was our first time we ordered variety of items to get a cross section of what was available. I had A Dirty Ruben, very tasty but the meat was very tough. The BBQ hotdog looked fantastic but the dog itself was poor. The burgers were all good, had the standard Chuck Wagon, a chicken burger and a BBQ bacon burger, the ingredients were all very good. <br/ <br/ We had a few sides there were good but the Buffalo Wings were the standout for me, they had that great taste that I remember from the US many years ago. If for nothing else I will be back for the Buffalo Wings.
