Small shop next to bus station in Franklin St but wow is the food nice I have tried most things here and have never had anything that was not nice. Great staff all very friendly a must if you are in the city area.

This was my first visit to Nhu Lan, and I was warmly welcomed with a smile as I walked in. The satisfied diners around me created a great atmosphere. I ordered the chicken noodle bowl along with a Vietnamese coffee, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice—definitely a 10/10! Plus, they offer a special on Vietnamese coffee for just $3 on Mondays. If you're on Franklin Street, be sure to stop by Nhu Lan and treat yourself!

We've visited this restaurant a few times and have tried both the bánh mì and the bun bowl. This time, I was able to snap a photo of the bánh mì. The ingredients are fresh and well-seasoned, but I do miss the pâté that is typically spread on the baguette in an authentic bánh mì. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with both the service and the meal.

Affordable and lively, you can't beat a $7 banh mi in the CBD. However, with only one staff member making rolls during lunchtime, the wait can get a bit lengthy, especially for those on tight schedules. Nevertheless, the food is delicious!
