The Barun - OHalloran Hill

This used to be a good cafe but my experience today was very disappointing. I had a coffee and a chicken salad. It was awful. Chicken was tasteless and fatty. Pumpkin and beetroot only a tiny amount with a couple of cherry tomatoes. Basically a bowl full of old lettuce. Never going back there.

Benchmark coffee. Consistently superb. Great range of non milk options and some different origin coffees to try, even coffee tastings! Casual vibe with efficient friendly (well trained) staff. Good food with GF vege vegan options. Often very busy late breakfast through to lunch. Update Nov 21: still great, always a pleasure to stop at the Barun! Update June 23: another excellent coffee, one of Adelaide’s best cafe’s.

Great atmosphere limited parking behind but down the street plenty of parks there is disable access at rear but will need someone to let you in as steps at front. Service food top notch.

Very tasty food and excellent service. Tge place is clean and has a trendy vibe. The staff are polite and cheerful. A great Cafe with excellent food. Thete are low cost options through standard priced options depending on how hungry u are and to suit all budgets.

Great taste of food in a nice atmosphere. We visited this place for a brekkie for the first time, and enjoyed the tasty and delicious meals and hot drinks. The staff was friendly and warm as well.
