Lovely friendly pub, great home made food, although children's portions would benefit from being slightly larger for the price. Decent selection of beers and a nice and clean, warm and cosy atmosphere. Staff welcoming and accommodating and obviously dog friendly which was perfect for us. We'll be back!! Happened upon the New Inn after a quick google, as our intended destination was shut. What luck! We were welcomed warmly for a delicious meal, and the service was exemplary. Lovely and warm inside, and really top notch homemade food. Recommend the mackerel starter, the fish chips, pie of the day and the sponge pudding. Will return if we ever find ourselves in the area again.
