We thought of some appetizers and a drink and later came to dinner again and then again 2 nights later. the calamari and fischtacos were both extremely tasty. we ended with the mahi mahi dinner with roasted vegetables and they were cooked to perfection to make us a perfect meal. the waiting staff was very friendly and offered great suggestions. the location directly at the beginning of their journey to the old san juan and the outdoor restaurant had a very nice atmosphere.
We have enjoyed the various foods and small tellers. very different and tasty eating. loved sitting outside in old san juan what we love. we had a beautiful brise and we saw a cruise ship in the harbour. great service. loved eating and the atmosphere. would return and recommend.
We had many great dinners in puerto rico. that wasn't one of them. while a similar check to the other restaurants that we went to $50 per person, the quality of eating was not almost as good as other restaurants such as oceano or cocina abierta. in addition, the sangria was a $28 pitcher of fruit juice. Stay away.
It would have been nice not to have had to ask 3 times for a glass of water, and despite asking for the seafood paella without the sausage, I still got the sausage. I was too hungry to send it back and just picked it out and passed it to my boyfriend. Wasn't the end of the world. It was expensive but old San Juan is expensive. The seafood tasted fresh, great Sangria, and opened table made it really convenient to just walk out of my hotel without worrying.
