Bread Broth Beyond - Omaha

This is a favorite tambayan place for dear old friends. We enjoy the food. It is quiet, so we can just talk and bond for hours. And the food! The menu is just perfect. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₱400–600

Good place to have an aperitif while waiting for daughter in Muji. Had chips, but needed salt to taste and beer.

Ordered the carbonara for lunch. The carbonara itself was decent, but it was lacking some salt. I’m knocking off the most points for the bread that came with it, though. The pieces were clearly stale, as they were a bit tough and a little rubbery. For a place that has the word “bread” in its name, I was expecting some actually decent bread. The waiter was friendly and service was fast. However, I felt a little uncomfortable at times because some of the staff would stare while I was eating my food. The atmosphere itself was okay—it’s basically in the middle of the walkway, so you don’t get much in the way of privacy if that’s what you’re looking for. Would I come back? Probably not anytime soon—the stale bread really threw me off. That being said, I feel like this place has potential. Maybe try it for yourselves and form your own opinion. Who knows? Maybe the stale bread was a one-time fluke.

Had a horrible experience with the service of this place (food is decent . First, we ordered a Dark Matcha Latte to go. They did not inform us that this was not available but decided on their own to make a Spanish Latte, which we obviously did not ask for (how did they get the idea to replace Matcha with this lol . Second, we only found out that they did this when we checked the bill. If we decided not to clearly check the bill, we would have gone home with a different order. They didn’t even bother to tell us. Third (and biggest is that when we asked to remove the Spanish Latte, the bill came back even higher. We had to be the ones to bring this to the staff’s attention Long story short, the bill had to go through 3(!!! reiterations because the staff kept on making mistakes and we had to be the ones to call it out every. Single. Time. Terrible, terrible calls from the staff. They definitely need to be retrained and we will not be coming back or recommending this place for a while.
