Jimi D's - Omaha

French onion soup was delicious. Also had the Midway, fish and CHIPS, and italian sandwich.

Had a quick lunch at Jimi D's and the food did not disappoint. Had one old fashioned and the mahi-mahi was phenomenal! Great service! Not overbearing but my server/bartender tended to my needs.Food: 5/5

My husband and I were in town for one night and stayed at a nearby hotel in Aksarban village, we choose Jimi D's because of the excellent reviews and because it was within walking distance from our hotel. Overall, we were completely disappointed and underwhelmed. The food was very average bar food. I ordered the coconut chicken salad, it looked amazing but the chicken was dry, overcooked and the lettuce had too much dressing. My husband had a sandwich which he said was extremely salty and just ok. We did share a French onion soup and it was excellent. Our server was friendly and helpful when we arrived however it got busy and he didn't really check back. Maybe other menu items are better but based on what we ordered I can't recommend this restaurant.

Visited Omaha and my wife tried this place for dinner and highly recommended the food. So I decided to visit Jimi D's restaurant the following evening with my family and again the restaurant did not disappoint. The food was fabulous, the service was friendly, the prices were reasonable and the wine and beverages were not overpriced. I'd be happy to return and more than happy to recommend Jimi D's to family and friends.

Great for a casual dinner and drinks. Fish tacos were wonderful and the IPA was perfect. My ONLY complaint is the way they allow their servers to dress. A sports bra and short shorts, with the belly skin showing is not appropriate to serve food. If she would've been my waitress I'd have gotten up and walked out. This is not hooters. I don't care about tattoos, but at least require the servers to be dressed appropriately to serve food.
