Panera Bread - Omaha

I am a regular at the Panera on 147th and West Maple. Recently, when I placed a to-go order in the store, my wife wanted the soup with a baguette. The cashier informed me that they were out of baguette bread and offered me chips or an apple instead. I pointed out that there were two baguettes in the display case, but she told me those were for sale at $3.79 and that I would need to buy a whole one. I mentioned this to the young lady who was checking my order, and she was not only very pleasant but also took the initiative to check if they had any baguettes available. I believe her name was Paradise. Thanks to Paradise, we were able to get a baguette for my wife's soup. She truly made my wife's day; it's the small gestures that matter! Paradise embodies what excellent service looks like. I just wanted to take a moment to express how much she enhanced our experience! - Jeff

Usually, everything is great here, but tonight the broccoli cheddar soup was quite watery. The floors were dirty and in need of a vacuum. The sandwich was spot on, but the frozen caramel drink wasn’t made properly.

Additionally, I found the cleanliness of the place quite lacking; there was food scattered all over the floor. I also noticed that the sandwich makers didn't change their gloves, which goes against their own policy regarding handling food for different customers. Overall, it was an unsatisfactory experience.

The broccoli cheddar is phenomenal. I usually get the you pick two with the Fuji apple chicken salad or the steak and white cheddar sandwich and soup. I don?t think I?ve ever had bad food from them

We were a bit disappointed because we ordered bagels 24 hours in advance, but when we went to pick them up, we were told they were out of bagels. Such a shame! Usually, we are very satisfied with the service and the products at this restaurant. Food rating: 4/5.
