Today my husband had the bacon cheeseburger which we thought was close to a half pound. The bacon is smoked at Kevin Browns andfried to crispy perfection. He had the onion rings, which are made from real onions (not the chopped and pressed stuff you getelsewhere). I thought they may be using Valdia onions as they had a slight sweet taste with not too heavy breading that was notgreasy at all. I had the deluxe grilled cheese without meat. It was Cheddar, American and Swiss on three slices of toasted breadwith mayo, tomato, pickles, and a thick slice of onion. It normally comes with ham and bacon bits, which is heavenly for grilledcheese and bacon lovers. When I said the building is nondescript, the interior is no frills as well. Concrete block constructionand cement floors, with red vinyl booths. But the food more than makes up for the plain Jane building. Oh, and you will spendless than $20 for two for a meal. Try the brisket; it is smoked on site and is mouth watering, lip smacking good.
The bacon cheeseburger with onion rings from Kevin Brown?s is one of the best burger combos you can get anywhere. Nothing overly fancy, just quality ingredients that are balanced together well.
Best burgers! Was down this was from Knoxville and thankfully I remembered this little gem in the country. We had the Bacon Cheese Burger and the single patty was huge, juicy and fresh made. You better have a huge appetite if you get the double patty! We had tater tots and great tea with our burgers. We had our dog with us so they let us sit on their covered patio and they were the sweetest people. Atmosphere is nothing fancy, diner tables and booths in a little building but don't let that deter you from stopping in for a great burger Parking: Parking at the four way stop at Mahan Gap Rd and Ooltewah-Georgetown Rd so easy in and out Wheelchair accessibility: I don't remember any steps up from the parking lot and the ladies room is very accessible and wheelchair-walker
The Burgers were absolutely the best I've ever had in a restaurant. It was huge . Next time I'm splitting one. My 11 year old granddaughter ate the whole thing. I would definitely recommend this to be the best quality and quantity. 5 stars for you.
The hours of operation for this restaurant are VERY specific, but the burgers are VERY worth it. If you like BIG JUICY patties, then this place is for you. If you prefer teeny tiny marshmallow sized sliders, this place is NOT for you. The thick fries were perfectly salted and the pickles in the burger were the best burger pickles I've ever had. This is a nice quiet burger joint out in the country that will fill you up with burger joy.
