1759 Irish Bar Restaurant - Opotiki

We celebrated a birthday party with kids and had very great experience. Food was tasting nice and service was fine and food came fast. Draft beer wasn't the freshest they should use draft beer only on busy times and otherwise bottles. Nice old Irish pub, lots of room. Definitely would go someday again.

Very old historic building with a load of character. Friendly local staff and a great restaurant serving a very generous Irish Pub meal, also an extensive Indian Menu. Good value!

Masonic Hotel Opotiki Quaint little irish pub in the heart of Opotiki township. Provides a large selection of drinks and cocktails, RTD 's and top shelf spirits at the bar, Has Sky TV playing most nights and is usually quiet. The restaurant out the back has a small menu which can vary night-to-night with a specials blackboard each night showing good deals. Food served is quintessential pub grub such as steak eggs and chips or surf 'n ' turf. Deserts are lacking with most of them coming from a box out of the freezer. Overall not a bad place to eat.

Thank you so much for feeding Our Whanau of 11 tonight. We had a mixture of Indian and Kiwi. From Chicken/Beef Burgers,Garlic Breads, Chicken Tikkas, Fettuccine,Butter chickens, camembert wedges, hotdogs and nuggets, seafood chowder and Surf and Turfs. Wow, we are Full and totally satisfied and Highly recommend dining here. The waitress was friendly and courteous and the Kai is Yummy. Thank yous very much for your hospitality.
