The Oquawka Diner

Stopped in here on Father's Day for lunch. I've been looking for a tenderloin sandwich like the ones I remember from when I was a kid. You know what I'm talking about, the really crispy, thin, delicious tenderloins with the cornmeal style breading. This place has it down. It was literally the best tenderloin I've had since I was a kid. Keep it up!

Great food, excellent service. Large portions for a low price. Relaxed, fun atmosphere.

This is a neat little restaurant, in a small town, that I was passing through on the way to Peoria International. I decided that I'd rather eat here, then one of the rest areas or chain restaurants, and it was the right choice. Low prices, they take credit card, service was great, ample parking, and the servings were quite large. This is a place I'll keep in mind for future visits when I'm in the area.

Excellent food and service. Our table had cheese burgers, home made fries and catfish (with salad and baked potato). All was exceptionally fresh and delicious.
