Chose this restaurant because of the reviews and the you catch, we cook option. Came at 8, no crowd, but I 'm assuming due to being late in the season. Hostess not too friendly, but rest of the staff was awesome. Sat outside, but you don 't get too much of a view at night with all of the bright lights. We asked the chef to prepare our fresh mackerel as a fried appetizer, absolutely fantastic. We also had Bonito that he blackened and served another Cajun style. Again, both fantastic. Ordered the corn mauche, grits, and spinach to go with it. All were good, but corn was unique and awesome. First time trip to area beaches, overall a good dining option.

Food was fine, but management and service was poor.

Great addition to the Wharf by the hotel. Kids enjoyed watching boats drive by.

We LOVE Bayes. Great food and service. Good wine section. People may think that since it s attached to a Marriott that it might not be good BUT it is GREAT! Keep up the great work! We are local to Orange Beach and this is one of our favorite go to restaurants!

They had ran out of all fish except catfish and redfish and NO STEAKS! Terrible all around. So disappointing. . Could be a great place at the Warf!
