Cafe Beignet - ORANGE BEACH

This is not your usual bakery with items in one case. If you place your order, sit in and watch one of several TVs while they make them FRESH for you. We ordered two dozen, maybe it took 15 minutes, and we went with hot, fresh and absolutely delicious pickles. I wish there was one in my town.

Beignets were delicious and warm when I got them to the resort. Not sure how much they cook / bake on site.

For Beignets stopped and rewarded with some of the best I've ever tried. It was busy, but the service was friendly. They offer filled, as well as the traditional unfilled. When we come back to this area on holiday, we will visit again.

The Beignets are very similar to the beignets in Louisiana. They are delicious square beignets that can be filled with vanilla pudding. The ice cream coffee with French vanilla is delicious. The staff was friendly.

I liked the beignets, although I have never had them anywhere else, so I have nothing to compare to them. I was with six other family members, and the man making the beignets did not want to take our order and complained about large parties. Then the woman who we're guessing is the owner came in and took our order a little more graciously. The two workers were snippy with each other, and it didn't make for a pleasant experience. There are a lot of places around here with much better service and better options.
