Pleasure Island Tiki - ORANGE BEACH

This tiki hut bar has a great waterfront location and, while it's slightly off the main tourist path, it still attracts a good crowd. They offer a nice happy hour, but during my last visit, I was disappointed to find that I wasn't receiving the happy hour prices, and since I paid in cash, I had no way to challenge that. The food here looks quite appealing, although I haven't had the chance to try it yet. The building is open on the sides, which means the temperature can vary depending on the weather. Overall, this place has a chill tiki vibe, but be sure to double-check your bill during happy hour to ensure you’re being charged correctly.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was vibrant, with a great crowd. The location right by the water was fantastic, as it allowed us to watch boats and parasailers, which was quite exciting! The food was not only delicious but also reasonably priced. Inside, the walls are decorated with one-dollar bills that customers have written on and stapled up, so of course, we had to add one ourselves! It’s such a fun touch! If you're looking for a quick yet tasty meal before engaging in water sports or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by. #Ohiocrew

The new owners initially impressed us with their revitalization of the space, but there were some unfortunate issues with the food and drink offerings after reopening. I’m happy to report that they have significantly expanded their menu, and it's now much better. While it’s not fine dining, it is a Tiki bar by the water, so the addition of items like chicken wings, pizza, and shrimp baskets, along with a game day for college football, really enhances the experience after a day on the water or at the beach. It’s a great spot to relax with a cold drink and a snack. I particularly enjoyed the nachos, fried mushrooms, and Alfredo chicken pizza, and I would definitely order them again. I should also mention that they were facing some staffing challenges on a Saturday evening, with only two servers working, but they managed to keep everything running smoothly with a positive attitude. Overall, I’m very happy to see that management has responded well to the needs and preferences of the locals, creating a more welcoming atmosphere. Great job!

I didn't try the food, so I can't comment on that. The place has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff is extremely friendly. The drinks were great!
