I had the opportunity to sit down with the owners and management of our stores, and I feel fortunate to have worked alongside our three exceptional shift leaders. Their hard work truly pays off. I just wanted to share an update about my experience with the drive-thru at Dunkin'. The staff, especially Jasmine, are incredibly friendly and work very hard. The only downside I noticed this time is that they don’t offer a 10% discount for Officers or Military personnel. However, during COVID-19, they are supporting nurses and doctors, which is definitely more important right now. I frequent the drive-thru because I've chosen to boycott Starbucks since they didn’t send coffee to Iraq for our military. I believe that our military and officers deserve recognition back home, especially while they're working to protect our community. When I mentioned this to the manager, I was told it's a privately owned business. I would kindly ask the owner to consider offering a discount to local heroes in uniform. As a result, I might start driving to the Dunkin’ on 17, which does acknowledge military service and offers a discount, especially when you’re donating donuts to a cause. Speaking of which, I bought a dozen donuts yesterday for the folks at Discount Tire and today for the team at Kingsley Animal Hospital. I've been in this area for a year now and truly love this Dunkin' Donuts, even though there's one closer to my home. The employee at the drive-thru window, Leland, was very professional, polite, and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. He was neat and well-dressed, and I could see that the inside of the store was clean and organized. The manager, Holly, is also incredibly sweet and a hard worker. The young lady at the drive-thru window during my morning visits is an absolute delight! One morning, she took the time to explain the app to me, and I've been using it daily to place my order ahead ever since. Her customer service is outstanding, and she always has a warm smile on her face. A big shout-out to her and the entire team for their hard work every morning, especially for doing it all with such a positive attitude.
I want to give a huge shout-out to Dunkin' Donuts and their app. When I arrived, I was greeted by a long drive-thru line and a busy interior. Rather than waiting, I quickly placed my order for pickup from my car. When I walked in, my order was already being prepared, and it was ready for me before the first person in line had even completed their order. I also discovered that you can place your order up to 24 hours in advance and simply tap a button when you arrive to have them start making it. Everything went smoothly today, and I definitely plan to use this feature again in the future.
