Nothing wrong with that until multi-generational Americans order Italian food. Several months ago here I had the vegetarian lasagna from the food truck and it was very good and comes with bread and a salad, very ample and reasonably spiced. HOWEVER, recently I had the PASTA BOWEL CAPALINI BASIL AND TOMATOES. First, the angel hair pasta is good quality and sensitively cooked. BUT BUT BUT it was smothered in butter, and not a butter that had much garlic. I asked the waitress about this and she said that they use fresh garlic. Well... not on noodles or bread. I got two cups super buttery pasta and two tablespoons red sauce which had no garlic, little basil that could be tasted, the tomatoes were stewed out of a can and some of it tasted burned, and I am not sure where in all this there was parmesan. It was not sauted in butter, it was drowned.
We were in town and I remembered this restaurant from many years ago. Sadly the furnishings are ripped up and not updated. The meal took longer than expected and my eggs over medium had runny whites. The service staff was helpful but it wasn’t like I remembered.
I've been here a few times for breakfast dinner... Breakfasts are good we've never been disappointed. Dinner varies depending on cooks wait staff sometimes food is good, comes out hot and other times I just felt like walking out. They've been around Orland for quite sometime. It gets busy due to easy access off Highway 5 north/south bound. Usual decor. Large parking area in front of restaurant. Handicapped accessible, casual attire
I went by myself and had an amazing breakfast..I ordered biscuits gravy and bacon and it was the best I have had any place for a long while. Good service.
