Eating was fresh, but an salad with a “small” piece of salmon a glass wee for $41 plus drinking money seemed high for lunch. table plates were sticky, maybe they need to be finished again? the atmosphere was good. hamburger was great, good bungalow. spiffy the place and they could get more business.
The quality of the food and ambiance were disappointing. The initial vibe of the place is not one where people are happy to work there. The tuna tartare appetizer was bland, and the filet mignon was relatively tough, even when cooked rare. The green beans were lifeless. The Caesar's salad was good, though.
Overall not a bad experience, but service was subpar. At one point I looked around the room and there was not an employee to be found. Our salads came out with our main dish. And my ribeye was an undercooked from what I ordered. Not too big of a deal though.
Service was pleasant, but very slow. our appetizer came with our main course on the same tablet, so I sent it back. had to get a couple of times to be more conservative. the ordered coffee at the end of the meal waited for a log time and it never came, so we ask them for our bill and please take them out the coffee. it was not busy – there were only a few tables to lunch, and they looked like they had enough personal to be better.
