Contribuisci feedbackI went for their “all day happy hour” Tuesdays menu. As always, their service was immaculate, they always explain the food drink menu and offer suggestions depending on my mood. I had their famous wings, 1|st time trying their Cheezus and OMG !! (Order extra bread with this) and their classic Ramen. As always, so delishFood: 5/5
I decided to go to Domu with a few of my friends because it appears on every best restaurant list in Orlando and I wanted to know why.I must preface that I have been to Domu before and all I could remember about it was that I waited for 1-2 hours to get seated and literally nothing else.First thing to realize is this location is tiny. I don’t think there are more than 15 tables in the dining area. This time around I had to wait 25min already an improvement from last time. We were seated and just beyond the hostess table and our waiter came by after 10 min to let us know he would be back shortly and apologized for the wait. We weren’t in a hurry so we did not mind the wait. We got the Domu Wings and Tako(grilled octopus) the wings were good 4/5 for me. The grilled octopus was 2/5. Flagging down our waiter when we needed something was a bit of a workout we did feel a bit ignored. For the main course I ordered the curry ramen, medium spicy, and it wasn’t really that spicy to me, it felt a little mild, but other than that it was tasty. I really enjoyed the mushrooms. I would go back to try the hotter option.Overall I’m still trying to figure out the hype over this place. It’s not bad and Orlando has very few Ramen places so I can see why it would stand out in that arena, but to me this is a place I can check out every couple of years just to refresh my memory.
FIRE!!! The wings looked and tasted so good, we didn’t take any pictures??? The Ramen was phenomenal! Only negative, asked twice for lemon and the server never brought it? Food was totally on point!! Will definitely come again!
BEST WINGS EVER!! I don't even like wings as much as my husband does but My God these were exactly what wings should be crispy to perfection, sweet with a touch of heat! I don't even have a pic of the wings because we devoured them so fast. The Ramen did not disappoint either. I had the Tokyo and he got the Richie Rich, both were so filling and flavorful. Our only gripe is that after waiting an hour we were seated outside, which we did say first available, but totally killed the atmosphere.Oh and they have a Happy Hour menu from 5 6:30pm! ?
The food was amazing (chicken wings are out of this world good). The atmosphere is great. Our server was amazing, but then…. We were there for a celebration/goodbye dinner. We had been at the table for a decent amount of time but in that time had not stopped getting appetizers, drinks or some other food. The bill was a few hundred dollars… less than 10 minutes after we signed the bill the hostess came over and asked us to leave because they were busy. I was flabbergasted. It wasn’t as if we had been squatting at the table, nor was it like we weren’t spending money. The restaurant also was busy but it wasn’t that busy, we were there on a Wednesday night. Horrible customer service from the front end. It just hijacked a very honoring, memorable night. There are plenty of other places to eat in the area. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere… which is sad because your wings are so good lol
