I have never had fufu or egusi with beef so regardless of the terrible reviews, I still really wanted to try this restaurant and judge for myself. Food took less than two minutes to come out. All I can say is that the egusi was so rich. The first bite of meat was completely packed with flavor, spicy, and salty. I have never had anything like it. The meat was not too tender, you had to bite it and I thought it was delicious. I did find fish bones in the dish while I asked for beef (I didn’t care, it’s just a disclaimer you might find little fish bones). $18.09 for the soup and fufu so the price can be kind of steep, but when you consider I didn’t have to buy any of the foreign ingredients or spend any hours making the fufu, I didn’t feel like complaining about the price, especially given how satisfied I was after finishing the entire meal. I will be coming back again for some egusi and fufu. Thank you!
Really good! Worth the try! Becareful of the spice.
Im Nigerian and my family is as well, grew up eating the food and also when visiting family in diff cities the restaurants there were great. I was so excited we finally have a Nigerian restaurant but it was GROSS, the portions are so small for what you pay. It motivated me to just finally learn how to cook the food at home. There’s an amazing African market on w colonial called African Choice Food. just YouTube and cook it yourself. It makes me so sad cause people want it try new food from different cult ur es and this is the only representation we have in orlando and it sucks.
Large prices for small portions, the fufu I not good to me ,
