Maki Hibachi - Orlando

The BEST sushi ever! If you like no if you LOVE sushi like I do this place is a must! The staff is friendly and quickly refills your cups when see it halfway. The bento box was very good fresh. As the tempura bating was not overlooked and it was perfectly made. My sushi was fantabulous it tasted just as good as it looks in the picture it was scrumptious, and there are no other words than to say, it was YUM, YUM Oh so Yummy! If you are in the area and/or seeking out a good sushi or Japanese food this place is a must! Not only good service, and a good atmosphere, but you will also get high quality food packed with flavor. PS: they also do custom sushi if in case you don't like a specific ingredient on it. As I don't particularly like tuna, I was able to substitute tuna for shrimp. Yay! Thank you, Maki!

It 's not the best sushi or sashimi I 've ever had but it is good. For this area, I 'm not surprised at the price but I have gotten better and cheaper sashimi in other parts of Florida and California. Still, it is a worthwhile experience and the ambiance is nice. Some have complained the fish is oily but that 's part of the taste of some of the fish and some have said it tastes fishy. I disagree. The fish I 've had doesn 't taste fishy and by that I mean bad fishy. That 's not the case in the food I ate. I liked what I was served and can recommend this to anyone who likes sushi or sashimi.

Food was amazing and our service was even better. Our waiter, Jake, was super attentive and kind. Would totally recommended.

Update: Went for dinner and seriously the food and service is great! The atmosphere is nice and the food fresh and so delicious. You have to come try them! While we ate we also observed approximately 20 takeout orders plus a full restaurant. It is definitely popular!Original review: The young lady at the reception was very sweet! Food was delicious! Wish I remembered to take more photos to post before devouring the majority, lol! This time was “take out” but next time I would love to dine in! A must try!

Not what I was expecting when I walked in because they seat you at a regular table, not at a grill with somebody cooking in front of you. I did not care about that aspect as much as good food, so it works out for me. Much better price than traditional hibachi with the show. I knew when ordering this was going to be a great experience because the server, Will, was so specific with what the vegetables were that came with the meal, that he said you can omit anything you wanted, made excellent recommendations for both my husband and me, and very friendly even though it's very busy. The miso soup was the best we've ever had anywhere! My husband got the land and sea hibachi and asked the server what was his favorite sea item, Will suggested calamari. My husband hesitated, but went for it and so thrilled he did! I just got the chicken hibachi with is the tastiest teriyaki I've had, but my plate must've been done long before my husband's because it was cool. Will offered to get me a fresh plate, but it was so tasty anyway, I didn't want to wait.
