After repeatedly asking him to bring me the same item, his response upon finally arriving at the table was a loud, "IS THAT ALL????" It was as if the mere act of walking 15 steps to the kitchen was a massive inconvenience. And no, that wasn’t all I wanted—especially after waiting 30 minutes for a side of parmesan and a clean cup (which, by the way, had red lipstick stains on it). Not only did I get charged extra for the parmesan without being informed, but it also contained pieces of tomato and cucumber, which my dining companion is allergic to. Overall, it was a terrible experience, compounded by a disgusting atmosphere filled with cigarette smoke and a broken air conditioning unit. Ale House, I once held you in high regard, but now all I feel is disgust and disappointment. You've raised your prices while lowering your standards.
I visited this restaurant on October 17th for lunch. The sign indicated that the air conditioning was being serviced, so we opted to sit on the enclosed patio, which turned out to be quite comfortable. We ordered the Mountain Melt and side salads. The side salads were quite generous, just like the Mountain Melt itself. The prices are very reasonable. I would give it 4 stars due to the wait time for service and the bill, though.
Awesome experience here today! First I?d like to thank Bruno for moving me to a different table! I had to get away from a crazy person. My salad (Cobb) was perfect Bruno returned several times to see if we were ok! Great service food today!
The atmosphere at the restaurant is fantastic. However, I should mention that for large groups, the biggest tables only accommodate up to six people. We had a party of nine and were disappointed that we couldn't all sit together. Instead, we were placed at adjacent tables, which wasn't quite the same experience. On a positive note, our server Amanda was wonderful—very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The food was delicious; I ordered the calamari, and even though I wasn't very hungry, it turned out to be incredibly tender.
We had a lovely experience at the restaurant. The hostess, Sarah, welcomed us with a smile and promptly showed us to our table. She was very warm and friendly. Our server, Shane, was also very helpful and kind, assisting us with the menu and suggesting some great items. We will definitely be returning!
