Was pleasantly surprised with the non-meat option (jackfruit), which I will order next time instead of meat (which was spiced too much for my taste). Loved the appetizers: loaded potato skins and firebombs. Atmosphere was loud, tables close together, but the service was excellent and employee morale was high.
I had the ribs with beans. I selected the cornbread muffin. The ribs were smoked well and had lots of flavor but they were almost too seasoned with the dry rub. Overall they were good. The beans were really good and a bit spicy! The cornbread wasn't good. It was pretty bland. My daughter had the brisket and it was really tender and tasty! She enjoyed it. We shared. I had to walk around to another table to locate silverware. Not a big deal, as our food was run out by another server and we didn't realize we didn't have any at the time. Overall, it was a good experience. However I would consider changing your cornbread. It's probably the worst I've ever had at BBQ place. Usually barbecue places know how to make cornbread.
The food was very delicious. They have very high-quality ingredients. All of their meat comes from a local butcher with an excellent reputation, which you can tell in the flavor of the food. The pulled pork sandwich was to die for. The ugly steak is one of my favorites.
First timers to this place-if you like BBQ, you will like it!
Fork and Fire was delicious and the staff were super friendly. Of all things, their pies were extremely tasty. The BBQ and fries and cocktails were all delicious.
