The Lake Village Bakery - Osoyoos

AND I would walk 500 more, just to be the one who's first at the Lake Village Bakery's Door. Yes, this place is THAT good. Staff are fantastic (shout out to Shannon who runs this place and sacrifices so much to keep our bellies full of delicious treats)If you've never had one of the croissants, get there early and pick one up - they are the best I've ever had (I will fight you for the last croissant if I must). Their loaves make my world go round, my big old mouth just don't want none unless you got CINNAMON BUNS hun. I feel very passionately about carbohydrates and this place will NOT let you down. Make a stop at the LVB next time you pass by and tell em SLICK BABS sent you.

The sourdough bagels are delicious. Buy them every Thursday. Second favourite is the butter tarts, yum. Love seeing the lineups waiting for this great little bakery to open. Go early.

We saw the reviews for this bakery, so we wanted to be sure to give the bread a try. We found out you have to be the early bird, and then we understood why. We arrived just before noon, and got the last loaf of rye bread - and it was SOOOOO good. We got there earlier the next day and tried both the Anarchist and the Cranberry Walnut. I'm only sorry my vacation didn't last long enough in Osoyoos to go back for seconds! We were in the bakery on my birthday, and we just couldn't walk past the carrot cake...it was the best I've ever had. I highly recommend a visit to the bakery when you're in town - but go early so you aren't disappointed!

You can't help but look at everything in this bakery, fresh baked bread and baked goods, local filtered coffee, fresh and local! We had the cinnamon buns, and a loaf of the Classic. So good!
