Manotick Gastropub - Ottawa

I can't find the words to describe how amazing this place is. It's truly MAGNIFICENT! One of my top favorite spots in the world. It's a charming mom and pop restaurant.

I chose to dine at this restaurant for dinner because it was close to my hotel and had received excellent reviews. It's a charming family-owned establishment.

Seated, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with charming decor and soft background music. The menu had a variety of dishes to choose from, and we were both impressed with the quality of the food. My husband ordered the steak and I tried the seafood pasta, both of which were delicious. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.

The food at his location, despite the changes of names and owners has always been very good. Once again tonight we were not disappointed. The tartare was very good as was the mushroom flatbread appetizer and the seafood catch of day. The broccoli soup was also very good. I throughly enjoyed the the shrimp linguini! The serve was very good. The most unique feature on the menu is called "the round of beer" - this is for the cooks at the end of the night as a little sign of gratitude for their great skills! Well done!!!

Food is good, served hot. Service friendly, casual but well informed. Dining room is a bit tight if busy but the recent addition of a large patio should provide more options. Fixed price midweek 'date night' package is a good deal with few restrictions on menu choice. Will definitely return.
