My wife and I, along with another couple, parked our motorhomes in the back of the cafe for the night and had a fantastic time. This place is authentic and no-frills, but really hits the spot. We will definitely be returning.
I was thrilled to discover gluten-free fish and chips at Camp Street Cafe. The reviews were spot on - the fish was fantastic with a crispy gluten-free batter, and the chips were delicious. The cozy atmosphere made for a great dining experience, and my son and husband also enjoyed their pizza.
Absolute legend is Dezzie, and the finest fish and chips, cooked in lard right proper, no messing about.
We recently tried a chicken burger meal at this restaurant and found the chicken to be slightly overcooked, but still fresh and tasty. The chicken nuggets were soft, tasty, and well-cooked, with a generous portion size. The fish and chips were also a good size and delicious, especially when paired with the homemade tartare sauce. We would definitely eat here again. This place is a hidden gem with high-quality food and excellent service. I highly recommend it. Thank you.
