Locale molto carino, intimo e ben curato. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile. Da buon host oltre ad essersi preso cura di noi per tutta le cena, si è preso del tempo per darci qualche dritta per scoprire al meglio questo territorio Consigliatissimo ps Dimenticavo, quando tornerà in Italia le consiglio di visitare il lago di Como ed i suoi paesini, le piacerà sicuramente

We visited last week at the strong recommendation of our Oughterard based tour guide. Johnny was very welcoming and the service was great. He spent a lot of time going over the menu with us. We all loved our locally-sourced food (chowder, salmon, steak). We liked it so much we immediately reserved a table for two nights later, our last night in town. That dinner was every bit as good, and we had dessert which was fabulous. Johnny was also helpful with advice on what to see in the area and on our trip down to Kinsale. We strongly recommend!

Given the very positive reviews of this restaurant my friend and I were anxious to go there for dinner. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. I ordered salmon with potato salad and was told that it would be accompanied by greens . The potatoes were cold and looked as though they had been rescued from a baked potato and accompanied with a little olive oil and lemon juice. The greens were unexceptional. The salmon was adequate but lacked the oiliness I would have expected from a fresh or wild salmon. I would have been embarrassed to have served this meal in my home.

This place is amazing! had a great goat cheese salad as appetizer, roasted duck and grilled hake. delicious! would recommend this restaurant if you are in this village. we did not have a reservation, but they accommodated us to the fullest!
