Big Dipper - Owensboro

What can I say about the Dipper? It's simply fantastic! The staff is wonderful, the food is even better, and the milkshakes are out of this world. If you're looking for delicious food with a nostalgic, old-fashioned vibe, then the Dipper is the spot for you. It's a beloved establishment in the community, and it's hard to find anyone in town who doesn’t have a childhood story about the Dipper. I really appreciate that they rescued the star from the old drive-in movie theater that closed down before I was even born. It's heartwarming to see a place that cares so much about the community that they make an effort to preserve its history like that.

I absolutely love their swirl ice cream cones and incredibly thick milkshakes. The rest of the food is fantastic too. It’s a wonderful little drive-thru with a lot of great options to choose from. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to coming back for more!

I hadn't enjoyed a hot fudge sundae in a while, so I decided to wait in the drive-thru for one. It was delicious, complete with whipped cream and nuts. The only thing it was missing was a cherry on top!

I'd recommend a cheeseburger through the garden with a side of gems and a small chocolate malt!

I am writing this review because of comparison. I just recently ordered a gallon of chili from Ole South BBQ. Compared to your chili... your chili deserves to be eaten during all months of the year! Sadly, due to the inconvenience of chili only being served during cold months, I had to settle with theirs. It was terrible. Probably the worst chili attempt I have ever had in my 29 years of life. It made me appreciate your chili so much that here I am. Good job Big Dipper for making good chili.
