Food was fine. The waitress was new but did a fantastic job. One meal was ordered without pickles sounds menial how ever if you don’t like pickles or allergic to them. They should not be on the plate. The waitress was fully aware however the manager over ruled and added the pickles. They brought another meal without pickles all was fine until a third party person got involved and accused us of being rude to the waitress. DID NOT HAPPEN SHE WAS UNINFORMED BAR TENDER STICKING HER NOSE WHERE SHE HAD NO BUSINESS. SHE WAS THE RUDE PERSON. NOT A PUBLIC RELATIONS PERSON. NEEDS A NEW CAREER. First impressions not the best.

The food there is like having a nice home cooked meal! It 's a comfort food here. Upon arrival, there was no hostess so I grabbed the drink menu to read it while waiting (they were just sitting out in stacks) and the hostess appeared to be put off with me reading the menu while we waited to be seated......she gave me a dirty look, but I don 't think she realized I saw it. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive, however. The strawberry rum punch was well made and I really enjoyed my salmon delicious glaze and well cooked mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts!

My husband and I and two of our kids stopped in for dinner a couple nights ago. I haven’t been to the whistle stop in many years, but we decided to give it a shot. The food was great. Our server Lacey was phenomenal. Very sweet and incredibly friendly. She made sure we were well taken care of the entire time we were there despite how busy she was. Between the food and the excellent service we will definitely be returning!

L had the steak mushroom onion pepper and cheese sub, my wife had the cowboy Burger,And my friend had fish and chips. The steak was excellent the steak was nice and thick and shaved properly it wasn't like the steak- um garbage they're feeding us now in other places that charge more money. Our server Kayla what's phenomenal she knew the menu and was very pleasant to deal with. The fish was cooked right, not dry just flaky enough . I usually have complaints when I go out to eat,not this time.
