I went with a group and managed to taste a lot of dressed that were all cooked too perfection. Among the top options are their hot and acidic suppe, bark pfefferminz steak, honey pork, spicy fried rice and myanmar red wine. service was excellent, prices extremely reasonable and the owner was very helpful. will definitely be back to visit!
That was one of the best 'western ' diner we 've had in Myanmar. The spaghetti Bolognese and also the steak with black pepper sauce with potatoes and vegetables were delicious! In fact, it 's a bit more expensive than other restaurants but for us, it was totally worth it. Would come back any time, especially when we like to eat something different than asian food.
This restaurant in New Bagan is a true gem. My husband and I wanted to give it a try after reading some good reviews and were completely blown away. The cooking is beyond anything we tasted elsewhere in Myanmar and, quite frankly, at a truly Michelin-star standard. We had the porkloin in a honey sauce that was absolutely fantastic as well as a fish that again tasted like nothing else. The creme brulee for dessert was also very very impressive. Please all go support this talented chef who is keen to share his passion, along with the rest of his super friendly staff. Worth doing a short tuk-tuk or taxi ride from old Bagan or Nyang-U to have dinner there. Vanessa Christophe
Very nice restaurant! Friendly host. Food was very fresh and tasty. We had the butterfish and the chicken satay. There was no dessert available but the chef suggested to make an « à la minute » sabayon with pineapple, very good! Give it a chance, you won’t regret it! We were the only ones there but it deserves to be more popular!
Really nice place to eat if you want to try something different than rice or noodles. We had a hamburger and the steak. Both were good. Staff is really friendly aswell. Just like the rest of New Bagan; this place has no airco but it was good to eat outside. The staff had a special smoke 'thing ' anti insects.
