The Tharabar Gate - Pakokku

Lovely staff, huge rooms and a brilliant place to escape after a day of exploring temples. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better stay in Bagan! The location is pretty idyllic given that it is smack in the centre of Old Bagan, right by some of the most prominent temples. The food was lovely (huge portions! , the pool felt like a bit of an oasis and the staff were on hand to help and answer questions whenever needed! Will be recommending this place to my parents when they visit next year!

The swiming pool is great we can feel nature our side it is big to.

The place is located at the heart of old bagan and it's very convenient to visit Arnandar Pagoda, to rent E-bike and pony cart and there are many burmese restaurants nearby. The rooms are so spacious and it's a good place to take a rest. Pool is also nice to swim. The most thing I like in that hotel is plantation. There are various plants and it can provide shade for tropical climate. However, some stuff that provided in the room are a bit old and some are not in good operational. Service is not top-notch and the worst is the breakfast and some room can't connect wifi connection. Anyway, you can feel the spirit of bagan in that hotel as the buildings are designed and decorated as ancient architecture.

Romantic location. Beautiful gardens. Large bungalow style rooms. Okay, not perfectly soundproof. No Fiestas, so no problem for us. Facilities kept immaculate. Very friendly staff. The best breakfast we had during our trip. Last but not least: perfect location, 3 minutes walk to the Andana Temple. Has the restaurant drink pool not been used bland went to Moon instead of without regret.
