Contribuisci feedbackWe had a wonderful dinner in papillon on Friday night. at the exact time of our reservation. our server was forgiving and she was wonderful. we started with two glasses of wine. a rose and a cabernet. both very good. then I had a delicious huh dijon dish. came with delicious vegetables. my man had the lamb frame and loved it too! this is our favorite restaurant in aruba. we come every year! my only suggestion is that the prices on the opentable website where we should make the dinner reservation up to date. my men lamm was $46 on opentable, but in reality was $54. I wasn't aware. I guess it's my fault not to check the pavilion page directly, but that should be corrected. except that it was fabulous!
We were a party of 4 and ordered happy hour meal. the quiche was delicious, but the beef stew menu was very disappointing. it was a very small part with very little meat and no sweet. this was the first time where the people who ordered it left hunger and dissatisfaction. the grouping was good. service was excellent and the server were very friendly.
Good service, eating was excellent and a pleasant surprise. we are picky eater and we were impressed by the quality of food and service.
Second time at Papillon this trip. Loved the charbroiled oysters the first time we went. The second time, they were weren’t hot and a little disappointing. They gave us a complimentary dessert to compensate. Excellent wine list. Market price on the Dover sole was $72. (Yikes), but it was delicious and expertly filleted by our waiter Julian. Loved the scallops with green pea purée and the tuna duo. Outstanding sea bass with pesto special. I still totally recommend the charbroiled oysters in Parmesan cream- just make sure they’re served hot.
We had a great experience dining here. Our waiter. Julian was very attentive to all of our needs. My wife and I split and one appetizer, and then I did order the crème brûlée Gucci salad. It was very good. For dinner I did get the grouper which was prepared quite nicely. My wife did get, the steak which was cooked to her liking’s. I would recommend this place. For what you got, I really do not feel that it was overpriced.
