La Zarzuela - Palmita de Landeta

Five of us went today. We were all pleasantly surprised. The food in general was excellent, the Paella was not the best I have had, but nevertheless it was good. A varied menu, reasonable prices and lovely country like surroundings. A pleasant change from all of the other restaurants in San Miguel. We will go again, a very good option for a Sunday lunch/brunch.

This restaurant is located in a Hacienda just outside town. Only open for lunch on the weekends. the cuisine is Spanish and the Paella and the Fidehua where both delicious. The Milanese beef and the Tartare were also excellent. The Flan desert was amongst the best that I've ever had. Although most of the guests were adults, there is a children's play area and the owners 2 children were there to "help" out.
