Out of all the restaurants I have visited in Palolem recently, Draupadi stands out for their quick service. While most places were slow, Draupadi was able to serve our meal in about 20 minutes. This, along with their extensive menu, is what sets Draupadi apart from the rest.
Beautiful location on the beach of palolem and very friendly staff. beach was so beautiful, not much crowded and had dinge like kajak, booting etc. eating was delicious ans, especially masala prawns. memorable experience for us and will certainly love to come back.
The staff at this restaurant are disrespectful and show prejudice towards foreigners. Even if a reservation is made in advance, they may not accommodate them at a table. When we complained, the owner was unhelpful and did not try to resolve the issue. There are plenty of other restaurants along the beach, like Dylan's, where you can enjoy authentic Goan cuisine. It's best to avoid this place and try Dropadi instead.
We visited here three times in our week in palolem. we loved the seafood curries and enjoyed dishes such as prawn sukha and kingfish tikka. quality fresh fish and well cooked (in contrast to some other “fishery” we met). the restaurant was quieter in the early evening. so east to get a meeretic. as busy, was popular with Indians, which was a good sign. would recommend and they take cards that were handy (nireas and zest in palolem also take cards).
