The Found Things - Palolem

I like to visit the Found things because of the location towards the end of the beach where the sea is calmer, but this season unfortunately I have been very let down by the complete lack of service there. Three times now I've been using one of their very rickety sunbeds and ordered a drink...only to find that I've had to wait and wait and then go up to the bar myself to place the order again. Even doing this has not guaranteed the drink to arrive! The waiters seem uninterested and unfriendly this season. What a shame that Shan isn't working here any more because he was the life and soul of the place, unlike the unsmiling miseries they have working there now. I have moved on to another shack now because of this, but I don't think the staff have even noticed or if so they don't appear to care......

Great restaurant by the beach, south end , food is delicious , okra curry was fantastic and my tandoori red snapper was to die for. Very friendly service. Highly recommended ....

Shan is an asset to this place - charismatic and customer-centric - I'll miss having drinks on the beach watching the sunset eating my choice of freshly caught fish (many thanks to the chef). We stayed in one of their huts which was basic, but comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend this place - lively, fun and excellent value for money!

Thanks to Sean and Sam and the team for making our stay in Goa amazing. The curries were the best and we managed to have at least one meal a day there. I do miss that paneer mushroom masala!! Friendly and helpful staff who went out of their was to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after, fabulous food and a sun lounger on the beach all combined to make this a very worth while place to visit!

When we arrived in Palolem we came here first as it was next to our accommodation. We met Sean, who manages the found things. He was very friendly and helpful, and gave good advice on what food to order. Our favorite ended up been the paneer mushroom masala, but in general all the food was amazing, we tried a lot of other places, but always ended up eating one meal a day here at least. We even traveled back to palolem on our last night just so we could eat here again. Honestly the best food in Goa!
