Shaka - Panglao

During our 10-day stay in Alona, we dined at Shaka multiple times, and everything we tried ranged from good to excellent, with most dishes leaning towards excellent! Contrary to what others have mentioned about pricing, I found Shaka’s prices to be comparable to, if not average for, other food spots in Panglao, particularly around Alona Beach. The cold brew coffee was fantastic, especially with the addition of oat milk. I particularly enjoyed the Smoky nachos with jackfruit, and the Mushroom stack was simply outstanding.

The food was tasty, but the portions were quite small considering the higher prices. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 3.

I had such a great experience that I returned two days in a row! The food was delicious, healthy, and incredibly flavorful. I would rate everything a perfect 5: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

The food here is not inexpensive, but it is truly delicious. I have tried nearly everything on the menu, and I would rate this place a perfect 10/10!
