El Toro Langkawi Mexican Grill

We had dinner at El Toro twice during our 5-day stay in Langkawi. We enjoyed the food as well as it was conveniently located across from our accommodation. It is a little bit pricier than other restaurants in the area, however, we thought it was worth it. The service was fast and attentive, hard not to be as we were the only patrons during the times (around 9-10pm) we were there. We recommend the tables on the terrace for a view of the action of the main street. Our waiter was super friendly and we felt very welcome. He even complimented my boyfriend's hair.

Tasty food, Inc fajitas ,savoury rice and spicy fries. Pleasant live background music and the service was excellent . Later on as the diners thinned out ,the staff and musicians were really personable playing our favourite tunes and joining in to sing and dance

Came here with my colleagues for dinner. When we walked in, there were multiple tables located inside the premise, with the outdoor area being full. We waited for awhile and went to the bartender, to which he said the place was full was taken aback. However, the server walked over and saw us, and said we could sit indoor instead of outdoor, which was fine for us he was generally friendly. Food wise, the portions were huge, we ordered the loaded fries and their Mexican sampler. Taste wise was alright, but portions were big. It's good value for money. If you are with family this place is worth a stop for a sharing plate.
