This amazing place does not serve pork, which is very rare for a Chinese restaurant. This place is loads of seafood including mantis prawns and crabs. Just had the clear soup with vermicelli and char kway teow. It was great. Somehow this place was empty. The price was reasonable and the staff was very attentive. Highly recommended for halal Chinese style seafood lovers
Reasonably priced seafood in a touristy area. Also tastes good. Try the big prawns and the giant clams. No pork on the menu. The price per person ranges depending on the type of seafood.
Didn't expect lots because there are no customer beside us. We ordered abalone, prown, veg and soup. Overall great! Especially butter tiger prown. They nicely cooked while maintain good texture of the prown. We loved it. We ordered crab soup with shark fins. This is good but I don't think we need shark fins. Price is ok (300RM for 2 adults and 1 kids) considering this quality.
Not sure if its due to the choice of fish, but pomfret which is recommended by the restaurant ppl didn't turn out as nice. Probably we should have chose snapper or grouper. We were the only ones at the place when we went about 6pm. Shop seems to be more famous for Shell stuff but we were only keen on steam fish.
