The Orange Lantern - Paramus

A big shoutout to the Orange Lantern! After completing the NYC Marathon last weekend, I found the perfect spot for much-needed hydration and nourishment after my long Wednesday training runs. Huge thanks to Allie, the best bartender, and Brenda, the manager, for their support and encouragement throughout the years.

Great live music and a welcoming atmosphere. The bar is nice too. I got together with friends who live nearby, and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back the next time they suggest it.

If zero stars were an option, that’s what I would give tonight. I've visited this venue many times over the past 15-20 years, but I have never been treated as poorly as my party of four was this evening. We came to see a favorite band, but I won’t be returning. It’s disappointing to see such a great venue that I used to love decline like this.

So much bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside. The food was great, the service was great, even the band was fun! I was quite pleased to find a place in such a populated area that made me feel as if I were back home with the small townniceties???? Side note... I also was fortunate to have the sweetest bartender. She made great recommendations and great drinks. She was the perfect amount of fun, friendly, and professional!

The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is lively for watching a game, and the service is always reliable. The staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5.
