I came here on a saturday night with friends, we were a group of 7 people and we previously made a reservation WITH a note pointing out that my friend I are vegan. As soon as we sat down at our table we were blown away by the interior, it looks absolutely incredible! Very nice. Anyways when we made our order my vegan friend and I asked our waitress for assistance since we had trouble finding something as our entrée main dish. Our waitress then told us she would go ask the cook. She came back and told us that as our entree they could make us a tomato salad and for the main dish we could get the quinoa risotto but without the asparagus ?? . we agreed. What we received as an entree was green salad leaves and some cut up tomatos. Now, the dressing was very tasty but I was very dissapointed with the fact that it literally was only leaves tomatos. I 'm very aware of the fact that veganism isn 't the most common thing yet on our planet BUT if my friend even adds a note to our reservation that there 's going to be 2 vegans I think I can expect a better and more creative entree or salad, even if it 's just a tomato salad. Then the quinoa followed as a main dish. Now, what I received was quinoa which was seasoned fine with some big chunks of cut up pieces I 'm not talking about finely chopped nor thinly sliced carrots and zucchini that were literally just thrown in there. Not seasoned, not baked, not fried, just steamed. All I 'm trying to say is that I didn 't feel like the kitchen nor our waitress really knew how to prepare tasty vegan food. It felt like they were unprepared and it was a last minute solution. Yes, the food ended up being vegan but I 'm not satisfied with a dish where the non-vegan food is just being removed and then call it a day. Last but not least, our entree and main dish were charged the same price as all other entrees/mains!
A special thank you to Soufiane, who was our host and looked after our party of 8 for our dad's birthday. He was super attentive and helpful! The setting is on trend, with plants falling down the ceiling to create a warm atmosphere. The food was top notch, lots of flavour, and well presented. I had a fantastic ceviche with avocado mousse, mango and citrus dressing, followed by the rack of lamb and the skate wing (shared with sister! , finished off by the lemon meringue tart. We were all very happy with our evening there, and will recommend this place warmly.
A very good mix of bar and restaurant in a beautiful decor. the fact that there is also a nightclub pool bar is nice, but can be a bit loud.
Beautiful place, but the service was not the best. it took long to get our order. also the name of the restaurant was changed to cube and was not easy to find.
