The best italian resturant in paris, a little bit expensive but all worth it. Most have a reservation. Should return soon.
Buona pizza napoletana, prezzi accettabili ma niente di eccezionale. Per essere in Francia comunque sopra la media !
This charming little restaurant was a stone's throw from the apartment we rented on Rue Soufflot, very near the Pantheon - tucked into a tiny side street, and across from a pizza place with a similar name (the carpet in the restaurant said Terra Nera, not Ristorante Napolitano da Gigi, I guess they have a new name...). Although we had a bit of a language barrier, the servers and, I presume the fellow was the owner, were all convivial, charming and attentive. The owner even helped my nephew get connected to the internet on his WiFi. They took our orders, brought the wine we requested and we didn't wait very long before the dishes were served. Generous portions for sure! Price for five was around two hundred euro which included some appetizers, all the mains, a few desserts and a couple of bottles of wine. I would definitely come back here on my next trip to Paris.
We had a wonderful dinner with excellent service. The antipasti are exceptional. I recommend this restaurant highly. It's not called Napolitano da Gigi. The name on the door is Terra Nera (not to be confused with Terra Nova, the pizza place accross the street).
