My issue is that they fed three coeliacs pasta while claiming it was "sans gluten" thus making two people very ill. One didn't eat the food. When I asked him why (I was very angry) the manager said "10 years ago everyone ate wheat, nuts and meat and no one died" so if you have no allergies then eat here, otherwise don't
4 people for a late Saturday dinner. Very friendly staff. No English menu. Good food, but no alternative for milk allergy.
We revisited this restaurant because we had enjoyed meals in the past. Never again. We can say after coming to Paris for over 20 years this is the worst meal we have ever had. Very disappointing steak and edible fries, and way over priced.
We came for a dinner and reserved with Fork/TA. A nice place, nice food and a very helpful waiter (our French is worse than bad and the waiter immediately switched to English). The snails were really great, salmon was very good, with vegetables on the side. I recommend the pies for dessert (we had an apple pie and a strawbery pie). We also got the discount that was announced on Fork which was a nice surprise, since we forgot about it.The location is also very good, close to the Montmartre cemetery and below the Montmartre itself.Thumbs up!
Nice little bistro in Monmartre. We went mid- Friday evening, it was packed, but the owner served us drinks at the bar and we waited for 15 minutes then he found us a table. Speciality is beef, but lots of other choices for non-carnivores. We shared an enormous cote de boeuf, cooked to perfection just as ordered. I had a starter of poached eggs with foie gras (ouefs mollets au foie gras), which was amazing. Menu is in French but no problem if you only speak English as they will translate it for you. Service was great, attentitive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this to any visitor to Paris.
