Contribuisci feedbackWe've been accustomed to this restaurant for two consecutive times. medium service, glass of hot wine, whose contents would hold in a shot, margarita with 2 basil leaves or without basil as today (no basilic in an Italian restaurant because "it did not like the sun" !) ... in short it was going well and over the months it seems that the quality is no longer at the rendezvous. It is a pity and the image of many young restaurants that hold for their customers after having survived more than 6 months to bet.
Very good service, warm and unpretentious. We ate a dish of pasta, pizza and a salad, all the dishes were excellent.To be recommended!
We fell on the elica in the Latin Quarter, near the sorbonne, because it is located a few blocks from our hotel (best western the garden of cluny). I had a good ambience in the street and I'm so glad we tried it. We have been twice; both times, we had a friendly and relaxed service. the menu is only in French, but all staff gladly translated the words I didn't know. large chardonnay not wooded for 4 euros, and our friends enjoyed the bellinis. very fresh and tasty entry of melon and prosciutto, during the two visits, cantaloup better than anything I've ever had in the United States. wonderful salad of very fresh green vegetables, bufflonne mozzarella, roasted eggplants, peppers and zucchini. good bread. delicious dessert with cannellonis. intending to come back for a pizza, which looks completely Italian and wonderful. Quiet street. strongly recommends.
I'm gonna give my opinion on a single dish because it's the only one we tested with my lover, and it's the last one. I don't understand how it's possible to hold a super-placed Italian restaurant, with a rather friendly decor, and serve such a dish. and the public puts 4 out of 5 to this restaurant on average? But what? We've taken alle vongole clothes. At this price, I expected a minimum of quality. 18 euros. It hurts me somewhere but to think about it.When the dish came, visually, it felt that something was blinking: as my girlfriend pointed out to me, it didn't shine.In the linguine alle vongole, we put white wine. There was zero pinard, I guarantee you as an expert. and it's important that everything taste a little bit better. There's nothing! zero GOUT!In fact, I had the feeling of seeing the liguine barilla that I do myself from time to time. has the only difference that there were clams (happyly), parsley, and maybe a little oil (we added some olive oil ourselves that my darling asked the waitress so much the dish was fade). And the clams. What a joke. There was to be about ten shells, and in all, I had the privilege of eating only four clams. Four! What the hell is this joke? Hallucinant.I spoke to the waiter, who was very nice and who has nothing to do with the cook apparently, and keep up well, he offered me a limoncello. the same digestive that had been proposed to us at the chalet of the islands that is a catastrophe as you know now. So when we propose you a limoncello in a restaurant to apologize, you know it's a bad restaurant, it's now a mathematical rule. In any case I don't have the memory of my life having eaten pasta with as little taste. And so that alle vongole linguine may have as little taste, you have to go. this restaurant can't have an average of 4/5, let's be serious.
I went there twice and I didn't see anything good. food just cuckoo. the service is quite friendly, but with so many options in the area, I would certainly jump this one.
