But each establishment is managed differently, each has a different ambience, and each, sadly, had different levels of cleanliness. The McD's at Convention was managed well. Tables and floors clean, food fresh and waiting time a minimum.
It’s totally what you can expect from the McDonald’s chain. What changes in this particular restaurant is the fact that they have a small “Boulangerie” inside the restaurant where you can buy your coffee, macaroons and other sweets at the beginning of your day. Even though this is a 2 floor restaurant it doesn’t have a lot of sitting space. For the toilettes, they were clean, and you’ll need a password that you’ll have in your receipt when you order. If you go there in rush hours from 11:30–14:30 or 19:00-21:30 you can expect a waiting time that’s up to 20min. Also, if you want, you can order at the machines without needing to speak to anyone, in case you don’t speak French.
My wife and I needed a very quick meal before a work event and there was a McDonald’s near our hotel, so we knew we could get in and out in enough time. Pros: 1. The food was actually quite good. I had a tasty pasta bowl, something unavailable in the US, and I wonder why it is not in the US. My wife got the standard Chicken McNuggets and fries. The fries were over-cooked, but the chicken was fine. 2. The service was great. We asked if someone spoke English to help us, and someone did and was very helpful. 3. The restaurant was very clean. It is a standard McDonald’s, so not a 5 star restaurant, but it is certainly a solid 4 stars because it perfectly served its purpose of providing an inexpensive and quick meal.
We stopped for a "quick" bite and to use the washrooms. It took 35mins to get our order and the fries were "dead". The men's room was dirty and the actual layout/design of it was pretty gross and I will leave it at that. Not impressed
Pas mal, mais un peu cher, quoique normal pour le quartier. Assez plein le soir, mais comme toujours pour les fast food
